The 25mm has a high-resolution electronic display, roughly mid-way between the resolution offered by the 19mm and 35mm models. Heights and widths are available in increments of approximately 8 x 16 inches. The 25mm color technology is capable of displaying crisp video imaging, plus all standard digital images. Supercharged LED and Video Display
The XVS upgrade provides tremendous color depth-true NTSC colors-and wider viewing angles. The frame rate is increased to full-motion 30-frames per second, equivalent to television. With all this, your sign can have more accurate and deeper color hues, a wider, brighter viewing area, and even run optional live video feed (optional hardware required).
What does an XVS upgrade do for a Watchfire sign?
Greater Color Depth for True NTSC Color
NTSC stands for National Television System(s) Committee and they publish the standard specifications for true color, hue and frames-per-second for the quality of television images in the U.S., Canada and several other countries. With an XVS upgrade on your Watchfire sign, you'll have the capability to display true NTSC colors for the sharpest most vibrant display available with a 12-bit, 68.7 billion color palette!
Faster Frame Rate
The NTSC frames-per-second standard for television is 30 frames-per-second. That's what you'll get when you order the XVS upgrade on your Watchfire sign. This full-motion frame rate shows animation and videos at true "live" speeds.
Wider Viewing Angles
Maximize the viewing angle of your sign by upgrading with XVS. As pedestrian and vehicular traffic passes by your sign, a wider viewing angle allows them to see and read your display even longer.
Live Camera Feed Option
Signs become multi-tasking media centers with the capability to display live video feed when you choose the XVS upgrade (and optional live-video hardware). Feature events as they happen, and draw the attention that no other sign can draw. (Cameras not included.)
Please note: XVS is an option that must be ordered at the time of manufacture. XVS is not a field upgrade.
